Hey, everyone! This update ships a fully rewritten Text Widget with rich text support, floating toolbars for every board token, custom images on Anchors, and a set of Link token label improvements. It also includes several bug fixes. Hope you enjoy!
New Features
Floating Token Toolbars
Every token on the board now has a floating toolbar, giving you quick access to the most common actions and settings without opening the full settings panel. Floating toolbars can be toggled on or off globally from the Board Settings panel or the board context menu.
Text Widget (rewritten)
The Text Widget has been fully rewritten with expanded rich text support. It now properly handles bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, numbered lists, and bullet lists throughout the content. This rewrite also corrects several existing issues: resizing by dimensions and font size now behave correctly, and rich text formatting renders properly throughout.
Improvements
- Anchor featured image: You can now set a featured image or icon on any Anchor. The custom image replaces the default one displayed on the Anchor token, and removing it restores the default automatically.
- Link token label padding: Independent horizontal and vertical inner padding values are now available for Link token text labels.
- Link token label offset: A new Label Offset slider in the Link token settings lets you reposition the label along the connection, sliding it from one end to the other.
- Board grid color: The board grid color can now be customized from the Board Settings panel or the board context menu.
Minor Changes and Bug Fixes
- Fixed: adding a text block from a non-root page in the editor would also create an unwanted text block in the root page.
- Fixed: the Ctrl+A selection shortcut was not working on the title input in the “Copy Module” window.
- Pasting Link token settings now preserves the target label’s existing text while applying the copied label style, including background, border, font, opacity, and padding. Previously, pasted settings could cause the target label text to disappear.
- The tag dropdown in the Node Table no longer gets cut off when used on rows near the bottom of the list. It now opens upward when needed and keeps the list stable while browsing options.
- “Root Page” is no longer suggested as an @-mention target in the editor. Mention suggestions now only include real content pages and nodes.
- Fixed: indenting a bullet point with the Tab key had no visual effect when the list appeared next to a left-floated image.
- The minimum size for link head markers has been reduced from 50 px to 30 px.
- Dragging an unselected token on the board now releases it still unselected. Without this change, the floating toolbar introduced in this update would appear after every drag operation, even when the token was not intentionally selected.
- The URL displayed on External Link Anchors is now horizontally centered.
